After breakfast, embark on a picturesque journey to Kibale National Park, passing through lush tea plantations and the beautiful Ugandan countryside. You’ll arrive at Kibale Forest Camp by late afternoon for a relaxing evening.
Kibale Forest Camp
Begin your chimpanzee adventure with an early morning briefing at Kibale National Park. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will trek through the forest in search of chimpanzees. Once found, you will spend an hour observing their behaviors, learning about their habitat, and experiencing the rare joy of seeing these primates up close. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided tour through the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary, home to a variety of bird species and other primates.
Kibale Forest Camp
Experience Kibale’s rich biodiversity with a nature walk, where your guide will help you spot some of the park’s many primates and bird species. Later, you will visit a local community to learn about their culture, daily life, and traditions. This day offers both adventure and insight into the local way of life, giving you a deeper understanding of the people and the landscape.
Kibale Forest Camp
Following breakfast, set off on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, famed for its mountain gorillas. The journey takes you through beautiful rolling hills, terraced farmlands, and breathtaking views of the Rwenzori Mountains. You will arrive at Gorilla Mist Camp by late afternoon, where you can rest and prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.
Ichumbi Gorilla lodge
Today is the highlight of the safari. After a briefing at the park headquarters, you'll venture into the dense forests of Bwindi in search of a gorilla family. Led by expert guides, you will spend a precious hour observing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. It's a powerful, once-in-a-lifetime experience to watch them feed, play, and interact. Afterward, return to the lodge for a relaxed afternoon, with optional activities such as nature walks or community visits.
Ichumbi Gorilla lodge
This day offers flexibility to explore at your own pace. In the morning, you can join a guided nature walk to discover more about the rich flora and fauna of the region. Alternatively, you could visit a nearby local community to learn about the daily lives and traditions of the Batwa people, an indigenous group with a deep connection to the forest. The afternoon is free for you to unwind at the lodge.

After breakfast, begin your return journey to Entebbe. Enjoy scenic views along the way and stop for lunch en route. Arriving in the evening, you'll spend the night at The Boma Hotel, reflecting on the incredible experiences of the past days.
